At Ailanthus we've always welcomed the interactive element of the audience and the listening experience, and shamane's album "is this your hen? who's hen is this?" is the first album in the Ailanthus catalog to welcome the listener to reinterpret any aspect of the album as they see fit.

Every download is accompanied by shamane's book of rhymes of the same name, and we invite the listener to take the book and the album and absolutely re-imagine it in any conceivable way.

Take any part of any rhyme, and sample, remix, or restructure any song to create an entirely new idea.

We're taking the concept of a conventional vocal album and separating it from the instrumental elements to deconstruct and change the meaning of the listener experience.

We ask for your submissions to release an entirely new album in the future.
